Life in Continuous Hunger is a book exploring the complex relationship between a daughter (me) and her mother through five intimate and honest conversations. The book touches on the body, food and weight, the difficulties of separation, and the process of growing up.

While editing our conversations, I discovered that food and weight repeatedly surfaced, even in seemingly unrelated discussions. This pattern gradually shaped the book, reflecting how, in documentary work, reality ultimately determines the direction of the final work. The conversations are accompanied by hand-drawn illustrations made with Crayola markers.
